Michelle was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Michelle graduated from Lawrence University, located in Appleton, Wisconsin, with a major in Government and a minor in History in 2005. Michelle attended John Marshall Law School from 2007 to 2011.  Michelle received her J.D. in May, 2011 and was admitted to the Illinois bar on November 10, 2011.

Michelle joined Sneckenberg, Thompson & Brody, LLP in 2007 and worked as a Law Clerk/Office Manager while attending law school.  During her four years with the firm she has gained experience in insurance investigation, subrogation and defense, as well as civil litigation.  Before joining Sneckenberg, Thompson & Brody, LLP, Michelle was an Import Agent for a large privately owned, full-service international freight forwarder.
